10 Musica Mundi School students will be graduating this year.
As part of their final Musica Mundi School Diploma they have been working throughout the year on a full length research project on a musical theme.
The ten graduating students presented their projects this week in front of the school - students, teachers and management.
The subjects were wide-ranging: how the brain distinguishes consonance and dissonance; alternatives to the current classical concert format; music therapy to treat ADHD, musical and political influences on Alfred Schnittke and Shostakovich’s musical styles, genetic and environmental influences on the development of musical talent; the Old Italian and Franco-Belgian schools of violin playing; the influence of Schumann on Brahms ; Antonio Pascuilli’s contribution to the oboe repertoire and Bach’s status as the composers’ composer…
Bravo everyone for these fascinating presentations !!!!
