World-renowned pianist Grigory Sokolov opened the 26th edition of the Musica Mundi Festival yesterday evening, July 15th.
Maestro Sokolov’s playing is sure to remain in the memories of all those present at the concert: he graced us with an evening of pure musical inspiration, magical and sensitive moments and piano playing such as one seldom hears these days.
The concert concluded with 6 encores and a full hall on their feet to thank this incredible artist with an impressively long standing ovation!
