MMS students contributing to the life of the community !

This week it was the turn of two more Global Perspectives teams to implement the community service projects they have been preparing. One group organised a concert at "Le Gibloux", a local nursing home, in conjunction with the Red Cross.

Some 60 residents, joined by Waterloo town deputies Bernadette Delange-Raeymaekers and Catherine Detry, were treated to a fantastic programme of chamber music and solo pieces.

Another team spent an afternoon at Le Grain de Vie, a local bakery which employs adults with learning difficulties. Students prepared a fun music workshop for the employees and were treated afterwards to a tour of the bakery. They even got to sample some of the delicious products!
