⚒️ Renovation Works, 🚧 Road Works… 🪜 and more WORKS 🪚 😉 !

The 2025–2026 school year is knocking at the door, marking the 8th year in the life of our Musica Mundi School!

From just 23 students in our founding year to an intake of some 60 young talents today, the growth has been incredible. And with growth comes transformation…

In order to increase the dormitory capacity a major decision was taken end of the last school year : to renovate the Fermette – the charming farmhouse next to the school, formerly home only to the science lab.

From April 2025 until now, the Fermette has undergone a remarkable metamorphosis and 17 new bedrooms + 2 brand new classrooms: Schnittke and Shostakovich have been created 🙂🙂

These new facilities will host our graduating students of 2025–2026, and for the first time in Musica Mundi's 27-year history, our Artists in Residence during the summer course and festival will be able to stay on-site for the entire 2-week program.

This is of course a major milestone for our institution ..... but that’s not all...

As if in harmony with our progress, the Province of Brabant Wallon is currently transforming the road leading to the school. A new cycle lane is being added, and the charming old pavés will be repaired – a perfect blend of safety and tradition.
