The ten talented students of the Musica Mundi School, performing at the Classiques de Villars in the Swiss Alps, continued their intensive rehearsals on February 18th and 19th, 2026, in preparation for their second and final appearance at the festival’s 28th edition.

And what a performance it was!

The evening began with a private concert for the festival’s supporters, offering an intimate preview of what is about to come.

Later, in front of a packed Great Hall, the students took to the stage as both soloists with the accompagnement of Simon Adda-Reyss and chamber musicians, delivering performances of exceptional musicality, maturity, and passion.

The grand finale featured the sumptuous String Octet by Felix Mendelssohn — a dazzling and demanding masterpiece that brought the evening to a triumphant close.

The enthusiastic audience rewarded these promising young talents with multiple standing ovations throughout the night.

Raphael, Defne, Jan, Wout, Aimar, Diana, Benjamin, Hoi Yuet, Simon, Can, and Valentin — Bravissimo! 👏
