Paris – Day 4 – our last day!! 🇫🇷☀️
All wonderful things must come to an end, and so it was with our unforgettable school trip to Paris…
Our 4th and final day began, ONCE AGAIN, under a BEAUTIFUL SUNNY SKY!!! ☀️
We started with a visit to the extraordinary Musée d’Orsay, a feast of beauty and creativity: it was truly inspiring to be surrounded by so many magnificent paintings and sculptures, to step into the worlds of Monet, Renoir, Degas, Rodin and so many other great impressionist artists!
What an incredible gift to our students’ imagination! An experience that can only enrich their artistic sensitivity and inspire them as they interpret the music in their repertoire.
And speaking of Impressionism… after the Musée d’Orsay, we headed to Saint-Germain-en-Laye to visit the birthplace of Claude Debussy, one of the most important composers of musical Impressionism!
And by coincidence, this lovely town is where our cello professor, Claire Oppert, lives. So naturally, she came to say hi :)
And in between all these wonderful museum visits, we had another very special encounter: Nessy, the daughter of our beloved Ivry Gitlis, came to say hello to the students who she loves so much, like her father before her. A beautiful and touching moment!
And so finally, our wonderful Parisian adventure came to an end.
Four extraordinary days, filled with art, music, discovery, friendship and inspiration. We return home with SO many beautiful memories that will surely stay with us all for a very, very long time.

A huge THANK YOU to BENOIT AND THOMAS, our fantastic drivers, for taking us everywhere safely and always on time, despite the notorious Paris traffic jams!
